Event Overview

This training was conducted by Igor Falcomatà, Advisor at BynarIO. CEH teaches you how to identify system vulnerabilities using hacker methodologies so you can legally and securely defend against them. Training was done on multiple tools including nmap and john the ripper. These tools are used for scanning the network for vulnerable systems and then breaking into them by cracking their passwords.

The purpose of this training was to observe how vulnerable Operational Technology (OT) equipment is. Under the controlled environment of Smart Mini Factory, network scanning was performed and control was taken over.

This training was in two parts. First part introduced to multiple Red Team tools like NMAP and John the Ripper. Whereas second part showed practical demonstration of how these tools perform their job.
